Week of 5/4/25
Good Morning Ridge Families!
We had a fun time Sunday night!
A few students went home with new pets 🐟🐠, a few were genuinely concerned about crushing pets (don’t worry—it was just oranges!), and many of us had a lot of laughs! The game wasn’t just for fun, though—it reminded us how easily we can be misled when we don’t know the truth. It challenged us to think about how we decide what’s real and who we trust. God’s truth doesn’t shift or squish under pressure, and we can always rely on Him—no blindfold needed.
Main Points:
Our feelings and perceptions can deceive us. Just because something feels true doesn’t mean it is true.
The world tries to mislead us. Culture often teaches things that sound good but contradict God’s truth.
God’s Word is our truth anchor. When we’re confused or unsure, Scripture and the Holy Spirit guide us back to what’s real.
Trust matters. The students trusted the leader’s word more than their own senses—what (or who) we trust shapes our actions.
There is NO Ridge 6-12 this week, May 11! Please take this time to celebrate your mom’s and grandma’s!

The ones who help us steer,
Through highs and lows and eye-roll days—
The wild teenage years.
You cheer us on when we mess up,
You love us through the mess,
You somehow read our silent moods
And never love us less.
You teach us more than words can say,
With patience, strength, and grace—
You’re steady in our stormy days,
A warm, unshakable place.
We love our moms—our guiding stars,
Through laughter, tears, and fears.
Thanks for walking with us all
These brave and bold teen years.

Cost: $100 – includes all meals, transportation, service opportunities, and a full day at Craig’s Cruisers in Grand Rapids! We will be volunteering for VBS June 16-19, so be sure to sign up for what area you would like to be involved in.
This is going to be an unforgettable week of fun, serving, and growing in faith together.
