MOPPET

This position is vital to the MOPS(Mother of Preschoolers) program. Moppets care for the children while mom’s take part in the program. MOPS meet on the first and third Wednesday morning during the months of September-May. This is a great way for mom’s whose children are older to help other mom’s!
TIME REQUIREMENTS:
One or two Wednesday mornings per month.

NURSERY VOLUNTEER

Work in one of our 3 age appropriate nurseries during worship service, playing and caring for children and making sure the area is safe and clean
TIME REQUIREMENTS:
One worship service, One Sunday per month.

USHER

These are the men and women that you see as you enter worship every Sunday morning. If you like to help others and love a good praise song, then this could be the place for you! Ushers hand out bulletins, assist with special needs seating, take the offering and see to the needs and overall comfort of those who have come to worship.
TIME REQUIREMENT:
Brief Orientation, then one Sunday per month at either 9:00 or 11:00 a.m. service.

MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH VOLUNTEER

Are you interested in making a difference in a students life and helping them to grow and understand Jesus in new ways? The FBIC Ministry Team may be the place for you. Our volunteers work in a variety of ways serving, loving and building relationships with middle school kids.
TIME REQUIREMENT:
Varies

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

There are many opportunities to serve at AMPLIFY, our Sunday morning children’s program. Some of the available positions available are;
Registration Team- Check-in children as they arrive, greet and assist families.
Safety Team- Walk the halls of the church during worship services and ensure that everyone is where they are supposed to be.
Small Group Leaders- After worship and lesson time is finished, volunteers interact with the kids in a small group setting, reinforcing what they just learned.
Assistants- Provide support for small group leaders. This is a great job for teens!
Buddies- Assist children who are in need of a little extra attention.
TIME REQUIREMENT:
Varies depending on job. Generally 2 Sundays per month, for one service.

WORSHIP TEAM

As we head into the fall, we have opportunities to minister to many people through music.  Our biggest prayer right now is for   bass guitar players.  Bassists must have prevvious experience and be able to follow written chords.  Other areas of service include synth/keyboard player and praise team singers. TIME REQUIREMENT:
Thursday rehearsals, Sunday Worship on rotation, Special events as available

MARRIAGE MINISTRY

Marriage ministry effects every aspect of the church. We value the covenant marriage and the impact it has on families and society. If you are a married couple who are grounded in the firm foundation of Christ and would like to help others who are seeking to have great relationships with their spouse and community with other married couples, we invite you to use your gifts in one or more of the following ways: Bible Study Faciliators, Event Planners or Event Hosting. Future ministry goals are to have mentor couples and premarital classes. Contact Mark or Ann Drake to jump in!
